With more than 6,000 houses and buildings, Amsterdam has the largest historical monuments in Europe. The city is famous for its canals, lined by elaborately decorated merchants' residences and warehouses, which were built in the 17th century, the Dutch 'Golden Age'. On this tour, you will see many landmarks: the Royal Palace, the National Monument, the ‘Skinny’ bridge, the Albert Cuyp Market and the beautiful houses along the canals. Amsterdam has so much more to offer besides the canals. On this live guided tour we will show you countless interesting sights and amazing views on the outside of the city centre. You will be able to admire the idyllic suburban scenery and the architecture of beautiful mansions. We will have a photo stop at a remarkable windmill and you will have the opportunity to visit a diamond factory in the Museum District. A trip to Amsterdam would be incomplete without visiting a windmill, and this tour will take you to one on the river Amstel.
